Local Wi-Fi · No accounts · No servers

Your phones are the chips.

ChipSync turns every player's phone into a chip stack. Track every stack and pot in real time over your local Wi-Fi — one device hosts the table, the rest join. No physical chips, no bank, no internet required.

Android — in betaiOS — in review

Real Texas Hold'em stacks and pots, kept exact to the last chip.

Why ChipSync

Phones instead of chips

Every player gets a live chip stack. Stacks and the pot update the instant someone acts — no counting, no colour-changing, no “who’s keeping score?”.

Plays over local Wi-Fi

One phone hosts the table; the others join by auto-discovery, a table number, a shared link, or a QR code the host shows. It all runs on the network in the room.

Private by design

No accounts, no analytics, no cloud. Game data stays between the phones at your table and is encrypted on the wire. Nothing is sent to us — we run no servers.

A real poker engine

Blinds, antes and side pots, tournaments with rising blinds and final standings, a turn clock, and an end-of-night chip tally.

How it works

  1. Host a table

One player starts a game and sets the stakes and stacks.

  2. Everyone joins

On the same Wi-Fi, players join from the game list, a table number, a shared link, or by scanning the host’s QR code with their phone’s own camera app.

  3. Play

Every action, in real time. ChipSync keeps every stack and pot exact and squares the chips up when you’re done.

No second phone?

Two players, one phone

Playing heads-up? Pick Two players, one phone and lay it flat between you. The screen splits in two — each side faces its own player, and the action buttons turn to whoever’s move it is. One device, one deck; square the chips up at the end.

Support

Something not working, or a question about a game? Email support@directclick.xyz and we’ll get back to you. It helps to include your phone model, the ChipSync version shown in the menu, and whether you were hosting or joining.

No games show up when you tap Join

Every player has to be on the same Wi-Fi network, and iOS asks once for permission to find devices on your local network — decline it and the list stays empty. Some guest and office networks block devices from seeing each other at all; there, tap “Enter address manually” on the join screen and type the address shown on the host’s phone.

Privacy Policy

Last updated: September 8, 2026

ChipSync is built to be private. It has no user accounts, and it sends no data to us — we operate no servers or backend for the app. This policy explains what stays on your device and what is shared between phones while you play.

The short version

  • We don’t collect, transmit, or store your data on any server.
  • No accounts, no analytics, no advertising, no tracking.
  • Everything ChipSync saves lives on your own device and is removed when you clear the app’s data or uninstall it.
  • During a game, data is shared only between the phones at your table, over your local Wi-Fi, encrypted in transit.

What ChipSync stores on your device

To work between sessions, ChipSync keeps the following in local storage on your phone only:

  • A display name you choose, and a random device identifier used to recognise your seat when you rejoin a game.
  • Your game history and settle-up ledger, and lifetime totals (games played and chips won or lost).
  • Any scheduled-game reminders you create, and app settings such as theme, language, and sound.

This information is not sent to us or to anyone else. It stays on the device until you delete it.

What is shared during a game

ChipSync games run peer-to-peer over your local network. One phone acts as the host; the others connect to it directly. While a game is running, the following is shared between the phones in that game:

  • Your display name, your betting actions, and your chip stack.
  • The shared table state (the pot, community cards, whose turn it is, and results).

This traffic travels only over the local Wi-Fi network you and the other players are on, and it is encrypted between devices. It is not routed through the internet, and it never reaches us or any third party. If you share a scheduled game with nearby players, that game’s details are likewise sent directly to the devices you pick, over the local network. You can also add a scheduled game to your device’s calendar, or send it as a calendar file through your phone’s share sheet — in those cases the game’s details go only to the calendar or app you choose, never to us.

Permissions

ChipSync requests only the permissions it needs to run a local game:

  • Network and Wi-Fi access — to host and join games and to find games on your local network.
  • Notifications — to remind you about games you’ve scheduled.
  • Keep the screen awake — so the connection doesn’t drop mid-hand while you’re looking at your cards.
  • Run after a restart — so any scheduled-game reminders you’ve set are restored if your phone reboots.

ChipSync does not request access to your camera, microphone, location, contacts, photos, or files. To join by QR, the host displays a code that you scan with your phone’s own camera app — ChipSync never opens the camera itself.

Third-party services

ChipSync includes no advertising, no analytics, and no third-party software that collects your data. It does not sell or share personal information, because it does not collect any on our side.

Children’s privacy

ChipSync counts chips and nothing else. It has no currency of any kind — no cash values, no wagers, no prizes and no in-app purchases — and involves no real-money gambling. It is not directed to children, and it collects no personal information from anyone.

Data retention and deletion

Because everything is stored locally, you are in control of it. Clearing the app’s data or uninstalling ChipSync permanently removes the information it has saved on your device. There is no server-side copy for us to hold or for you to request.

Changes to this policy

If this policy changes, we’ll post the updated version on this page and revise the “last updated” date above.
